Abstract:
Discusses the influence of fiber geometry on the properties of steel fiber reinforced shotcrete. A laboratory investigation was carried out to understand the influence of fiber geometry on fiber rebound and hardened shotcrete properties. Five commercially available deformed fibers were selected. Fiber percent rebound was found to be closely related to a fiber geometrical parameter called the specific projected area.
