Document Errata
The committees responsible for ACI committee reports, standards and other documents strive to avoid ambiguities, omissions, and errors in these documents.
In spite of these efforts, the users of ACI documents occasionally find information or requirements that may be subject to more than one interpretation or may be incomplete or incorrect. When potential errors are discovered in an ACI document, the committee chair has the authority to decide if a correction needs to be made and provides staff with the correction. The official change is issued in the form of an errata and made available to the public. Proper use of any ACI document includes periodically checking for errata for the most up-to-date revisions.
