Committee Mission: Develop and report information on formwork for concrete construction.

Goals: 1) Periodically update existing committee documents to reflect current practice and research developments; 2) Develop a design specification for formwork; 3) Develop guidance on formwork pressure when using self-consolidating concrete (SCC); 4) Serve as a resource for ACI Committee 301 on formwork and formed concrete surfaces; 5) Support development and presentation of ACI formwork seminars, webinars, and convention sessions; 6) Encourage research on concrete formwork design, construction, and performance.
