Description
This module, based on Chapter 8 of ACI 306R-16, “Guide to Cold Weather Concreting”, addresses protection for structural concrete requiring construction supports. More specifically, the principle of the maturity method, testing techniques for strength and temperature, methods to increase early strength development, and duration of time for safe removal of formwork based on strength are discussed. This document was developed by ACI Committee 306 and approved by the ACI Technical Activities Committee.
