Abstract:
World cement production is estimated to contribute about 8% of total anthropogenic carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions worldwide. Solidia Cement™ (SC) is a new type of binder with a chemistry and functionality that allows it to have a significantly reduced CO2 footprint. The article describes the CO2 savings in the production of SC and CO2 used for curing of SC concrete.
