Goals: Develop "Code Requirements for Concrete Durability," a mandatory-language document addressing concrete durability. The code will not address structural design requirements; it will provide minimum prescriptive requirements and, where applicable, provide alternative performance requirements for achieving concrete durability. The code will identify durability exposure categories and classes, and steps for durability planning, and provide requirements for durability design, construction/quality management, and maintenance. The code will be a stand-alone document that can be referenced in other standards.
