ACI Awards Travel Stipends for Grad Students to Attend Convention

Nine graduate students received travel stipends of $1,000 USD to attend the ACI Concrete Convention, April 2-6, 2023, in San Francisco, CA, USA.The purpose of the travel stipend program is to offset travel-related expenses such as hotel and airfare for students who are pursuing a full-time graduate or post-doctoral degree. The program is sponsored by the Student and Young Professional Activities Committee (SYPAC).

The application period is currently open for the upcoming conventions for Fall 2023 (Boston) or Spring 2024 (New Orleans).  A nomination letter from a faculty member, resume/curriculum vitae, and responses to essay questions are required. The deadline to apply is June 15.
