Abstract:
The paper describes and analyses the measurements made by the "Centre d' Etudes Scientifiques et Techniques" (CEST - Grenoble) for the Compagnie Industrielle de Travaux (CITRA - Paris) in 1968-1969 on cubic specimens of concrete with a view to studying the deformability under service compression stresses and the failure strength of the thick concrete walls used in nuclear reactor caissons.
