Abstract:
When working to improve the design of a structure, it is important to not just focus on optimizing material quantities but to also consider construction productivity (productivity as measured in labor and time consumption). PRO suggests changes for creating a design that is not just code-compliant but also code-constructable, providing value to the owner with cost and schedule benefits without sacrificing productivity.
