Abstract:
The nature of roller compacted concrete and speed of construction required immediate control and management cooperation from both the design and con-struction personnel. Earth-moving techniques were used to haul, spread, and compact the concrete. Requirements for aggregate quality and mixing were greatly relaxed and cement factors decreased.
