Abstract:
Describes the use of composite panels consisting of a welded wire space frame and a foam core of polyurethane or expanded polystyrene in residential construction, where the panels can be used for walls, floors, and roofs. The panels can be assembled on-site in the desired configuration and either plastered, shotcreted, or encased in formed concrete; they can also be used in vertical or horizontal forms to manufacture precast concrete elements.
