Building information modeling (BIM) has been introduced into the design and construction industry over the last decade. BIM users benefit from completing even the most complex projects on time and within budget. Yet, many structural engineering firms hesitate to maximize the potential of BIM due to fear of increased liability and risk related to sharing models.
