Abstract:
Using the programmable calculator, a structural engineer can analyze a rectangular or circular concrete column subjected to uniaxial and biaxial bend-ing. By stress-strain compatility and the criteria established by ACI 318-77, the ultimate capacity of a column can be obtained for a specific design condition in a matter of minutes.
