Abstract:
Dominant structural features of precast walls in concrete buildings, and their influence on the non-linear characteristics of the latter, are considered. The analysis takes into account local plastic deformation of the failure zones and the strain property of the wall at a decrease of stresses. Methods are proposed for evaluation of ultimate bending moments and curvatures at the Iimit state.
