Abstract:
To be successful, designers and specifiers must have a good understanding of basic concrete practice, and comprehend the processes available for creating colored concrete, six of which are described here. This article is a beginning point for understanding how and where color hardeners, integral color, chemical stains, penetrating tints, toppings, and sealers should be used and specified.
