Produced by Engineering Training and Education Consultants (eTec), this CD- based training tool is designed for individuals seeking certification as ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician-Grade 1. The CD is an interactive, self- paced, training tool that may be used for preparing to take the written and performance examinations required as part of the ACI certification process. Covering all seven of the ASTM standards that comprised the certification program, it addresses many learning styles, is simple to navigate, and does not require installation. Included for each standard are a slide show presentation, printable handouts that explain the standard in plain English, and a video clip illustrating how to propertly conduct each test. An introduction to each test, a procedural overview of the steps involved, and an interactive sample written examination are also offered in printable documents.
