Abstract:
Once a niche market, demand for integrally colored concrete is now on the rise. Color is often achieved using premixed bags of dry pigment, but a new method, using automated liquid color dispensing equipment, is becoming increasingly popular with concrete producers. The advantages of this new technology include increased batch-to-batch color consistency, reduced batching error, and the ability to produce an infinite array of colors while only keeping four or five primary colors in stock.
