Abstract:
In this article, a noted architect discusses his experiments, dating back to the 1960s, in creating concrete block unites of various textures and shapes. The author describes the implications inherent in the use of concrete masonry as a building material and says it is in keeping with a return to “a minimal artless style of architecture.”
