Abstract:
This article details the use of concrete as a construction material in the Arabian Gulf region of the Mideast, a region known for its severe environment: high chloride content in the soil, atmosphere, and concrete materials, and very high temperatures. An expert in Gulf construction provides tips for concrete durability in the region.
