Abstract:
The Chicago & Northwestern Ry. Co. at the close of the year 1917 leased its new 10,000,000-bushel terminal elevator to the Armour Grain Company for operation. This grain elevator is located on the west bank of the Calumet River, near 122d St., in the City of Chicago, Ill. It is the largest and most completely equipped grain elevator in the world, having all the latest type of grain-handling machinery and apparatus needed for taking care of grain on a very large scale.
