Abstract:
A comprehensive but simple design procedure is presented for the design of concrete columns subject to biaxial bending. The procedure is oriented towards hand computation but is suitable for incorporation into computer programs. The methods in the existing literature are summarized and evaluated. A new design procedure and an example problem showing its use are given.
