Abstract:
This work presents the results of an experimental investigation to develop equations for estimating the potentional strength, modulus of elasticity, dry unit weight and pulse velocity of both regular and superplasticized concrete by using the Accerlerated Curing Method recommend by the American Society for Testing and Materials. A series of 24 concrete mixes (12 control and 12 superplasticized) were tested. The variables used were water-cement ratio, the initial temperature of concrete and air content.
