Abstract:
The current design concepts for some aspects of civilian and military construction include the provision for low-density concretes where the functional use of these concretes is for energy absorption, shock-wave reflection, controlled crushing strength levels, and large deformation capabilities. . .Special physical properties, determined when the concrete was in a constrained condition, are discussed and related to other physical property parameters.
