Abstract:
This account of the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) role in industrialized concrete construction is prefaced with a summary of the European experience, begun early in the 20th Century. . .The emphasis of the paper is on multifamily, highrise concrete construction; single-family residental construction is not addressed.
