Abstract:
The time-dependent deformations, creep, and shrinkage are important considerations in the design and safety evaluation of a prestressed concrete nuclear reactor pressure vessel. This paper presents the results of a research program on the creep behavior of concrete under multiaxial states of stress and elevated temperatures.
