Abstract:
Presents an experimental investigation of dowel-to-concrete shear transfer. Emphasis is given to identifying dowel mechanisms under cyclic actions. In addition, recommendations for the calculation of dowel strength are proposed, both under monotonic and cyclic loading conditions.
