Abstract:
Outlines the problems that arise when concrete quality control at the jobsite is delegated to the contractor instead of being the direct responsibility of the engineer or owner. Discusses the requirements of ACI 318 and other standards that become legal requirements when invoked by governmental bodies and other agencies. Outlines the basic essential requirements of a project quality control program and discusses ACI certification and requirements for testing and inspection be conducted by certified personnel.
