Abstract:
Cast-in-place concrete construction can be a problem in cold weather. However, a contracting firm found that using an air structure to protect this type of construction was an economical solution. Not only did it create a comfortable working environment, but it was a movable structure that was used on two separate jobs owned by the Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility.
