Abstract:
Describes repairs required before a multistory parking structure could be opened to service. The reinforced concrete decks, which had exhibited extensive cracking, were repaired with a bonded reinforced concrete overlay. Beams were strengthened with supplemental stirrups encased in shotcrete and new reinforced shotcrete brackets were installed around existing columns.
