Abstract:
In view of the lack of specifications and recommendations for the design of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) floors, load tests of such floors are reviewed and the property of toughness, or post-crack strength, is proposed, as the factor should be used to indicate the load-bearing capacity of slabs on grade.
