Abstract:
Successful floors begin with a thorough discussion between the design professional and the owner as to the floor requirements, the owner's expectations, its planned usage, and life cycle. These discussions should also include visits to the client's previous floors and projects that the design professionals feel exhibit the qualities desired by this client. If all parties cannot agree on an existing floor or floors that singly or in combination equal or exceed the owner's needs, the likelihood of a successful floor is diminished.
