Abstract:
The results of 19 tests of reinforced concrete plates simply supported on four edges are presented. The plates were subjected to combined in-plane compressive and lateral loads (i.e., loads perpendicular to the plate). The variables in the test series included loading type, plate slenderness, aspect ratio, reinforcement ratios in the two orthogonal directions, in-plane load level, and loading sequence.
