Abstract:
Realistic specifications, attention to details, and flatness/levelness monitoring are all factors in achieving quality flat concrete floors. Many factors involved in building a flat floor are outlined in this case history of a manufacturing/ distribution facility recently erected in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The project's specification was F F = 35 and F L = 20, but the end result was that the average floor tolerances for the floor exceeded these minimum standards due to teamwork and cooperation among those involved.
