One of Britain's largest public works ventures in decades, the project has been handled by contractors and engineers from both England and France. This $430 million (300 million ú ) structure will be 5.2 km long and include two multispan approach viaducts from the Avon (England) and Gwent (Wales) shores to the main bridge over the navigation channel.
