Abstract:
Describes the behavior of reinforced concrete plates simply supported on the four edges and loaded to failure under combined compressive inplane loads and lateral (perpendicular to the plane) loads. The variables considered include loading type, plane slenderness, inplane load level, aspect ratio, reinforcement ratios in the two orthogonal directions, and loading sequence.
