Abstract:
This section covers all aspects of the construction of the dock, including a study of the main factors affecting the execution of the works at the dry dock in Algeciras Bay: ? The Crinavis Basin. ? Site facilities. ? Provisional foundations. ? Execution stages: Division into eight modules ("Plots"). ? Formwork, reinforcement and concrete-pouring. ? Full scale tests. ? Pre-stressing process: cable and reinforcing bar families. ? Special ball joint area (clamping to the concrete).
