Abstract:
The bridge consists of twin structures 66 m long, each 12 m wide. Its longitudinal nature is very amenable to a continuous prestressed concrete slab solution, with two intermediate supports. The central span is 36 m and the side spans are 15 each. The unique feature of the structure is the use of white concrete for all elements except the footings. The purpose of this paper is to summarize the consequences of this choice of colour in the design and construction of the bridge.
