Abstract:
The design and construction of the One Thousand Museum are the products of a range of partnerships stretching halfway across the world, from Miami to Dubai. The undulating form of the tower, designed by the late Zaha Hadid, was created using cast-in-place construction, incorporating removable wood formwork for the lower floors and stay-in-place glass fiber reinforced concrete forms for the exposed structure above the 14th floor.
