Abstract:
Tests were carried out on pullout specimens and on reinforced concrete beams to investigate the effectiveness of epoxy injection in repairing the bond between steel and concrete in reinforced concrete members. The test results indicate that the bond strength can be restored by the repair process, provided adequate penetration of epoxy resin in to the bar-concrete interface can be achieved.
