Abstract:
Forty-eight slabs were tested to determine the lice and anchorage requirements of deformed re and deformed wire fabric. The behavior of the slabs during the tests are described. Simple conservative design equations, taking into consideration the bond, weld and concrete strengths, are developed for computing the splice and anchorage lengths.
