Abstract:
This report of ACI Committee 332, Recommended Practice for Residential Concrete Work, was prepared to serve as a guide for the installation of concrete floor slabs on grade inside residences. The main concern of the com-mittee is one- and two-family dwelling construction. The report is not offered as a specification but as a guide to sound practices. The report is concerned with the requirements of the site; required quality of materials; mixing, placing, and curing the concrete; design of the slab; and special considerations as related to this particular type of construction.
