Abstract:
A short summary of a forum, held at the ACI Fall Convention, November 1979, Washington, D.C. Covers subjects such as absolute minimum and maximum temperature of concrete as mixed or as placed; when and where the temperature is taken: how concrete producers can supply specified cold weather economically from varied plant locations; how concrete damaged by frost or freezing should be removed; when concrete placed.during cold weather is safe for form removal; and effects of wind chill factors on concrete.
