Abstract:
The Portland Cement Association conducted a survey of frame construction times for high-rise buildings over four stories. Results show how construction time differs between concrete frame and steel frame office buildings in addition to other data on the use of concrete frames and other concrete building systems. On average, concrete framing has a two-month construction time advantage over steel for high-rise office buildings.
