Abstract:
Use of fly ash concrete by a major electric power company is described , and its general advantages are detailed. These advantages include increased ultimate strength, reduced temperature rise, reduced alkali-aggregate reaction, improved sulfate resistance, reduced permeability, reduced volume change, reduced creep, and economy.
