Abstract:
John B. Leonard was one of the major proponents of the development of reinforced concrete technology in the West in the early years of the 20th century. His bridges have stood the test of time, and a number have been recognized as historic civil engineering landmarks. This article examines Leonard’s bridge designs over a period of 20 years.*
