Abstract:
The relationship of Quincy Adams Gillmore to the Cleft Ridge Span in Brooklyn, New York’s Prospect Park is discussed in a historical look at the people involved in its construction. Gillmore is shown to be a great proponent of the precast compacted concrete used to build the span.*
