Abstract:
Cast-in-place nonreinforced concrete pipe (CIPP) has been used in various parts of the United States for about 35 years. Originally conceived as an inexpensive and effective alternative for low-head agricultural irrigation systems in California’s central valley, it’s use eventually spread to storm drain application in California, Texas, Arizona and other states and countries where, under proper conditions, it has proven to be a cost effective alternative.
