Abstract:
Glass fiber reinforced mortar and its use in waterproofing and repair of concrete bridges, parking decks; industrial floors, and water storage structures are discussed in this article. It is noted that fibers can be used to overcome brittleness and low tensile strength, the inherent disadvantages of cementitious materials.
