Abstract:
The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) Major Capital Construction Program includes concrete applications for its projects, such as Water Pollution Treatment Facilities, Combined Sewer Overflow Facilities, pumping stations, dams, roads and bridges, and the Third Water Tunnel serving the metropolitan area. An Internet-based state-of-the-art technology will be implemented to enable concrete performance data to be entered and stored in a single database. The data will be obtained from multiple sources and various project locations and analyzed to generate concise, usable reports, such as statistical analysis, including standard deviation, accessible via Internet, to NYCDEP, project management and all parties involved in concrete applications.
