Abstract:
Describes a system that uses three principal factors to optimize concrete mix proportions for a given need with a given combination of aggregate characteristics: the relationship between the coarseness of the two larger aggregate fractions and the fine fraction (coarseness factor), the total amount of mortar (mortar factor), and the aggregate particle distribution.
